“ Outstanding and unique restaurant with delicious food and great service. Definitely one of the best meals of our DMV trip. We reserved for lunch on a Thursday afternoon and were met with polite and friendly staff. There was a large and detailed selection on the menu. Before our order came, we were served bread and some dips and chutneys. We loved the dips, and the server was happy to give us containers of dip to take home. The assorted dumplings were great, and we enjoyed the Taste of Aracosia platter. My daughter loved the food as well. Great experience the reviews reflect this for a reason. ”
“ We loved this place so much and are embarrassed to say we almost skipped to cuz of the reviews but glad we decided to try it anyways! The service was great, from the moment we walked in the host, the waiter, everyone was very attentive and kind. The bread basket and sauces we just the beginning and were so tasty! From the dill yogurt to the mango to the pepper to the zatar spice mix. Lentil soup wasnt sure if wed like this but it turned out we loved it and even added rice from our platters to extend the great taste! Quroti very flavorful with a great balance of spices to enhance the flavor and texture Potato and meal turnovers simple yet very tasty, soft and fresh inside and crispy outside Grilled salmon atop saffron rice and greens omg this was so good, especially loved the greens Lamb dish cant remember name but it was fall off the bone tender served with rice and greens as well and we devoured every bit of this dish too! Cant wait to return, hungry just writing this review! ”

“ I took a good Afghani friend to this restaurant for a mini reunion. We both ordered lamb but different dishes. Both were delicious. The bread comes with several different dipping sauces. Elyas remarked that the cuisine was authentic. I loved the way the Bistro was decorated. They had the same colorful lights that I have at home! ”

Everything was FANTASTIC!!! The food was cooked perfectly. The service was great! We never had to ask to have our beverages filled up, because they were already on top of it before we had to ask. They packed all our leftovers into boxes for us for our way home. We will definitely be going back! ”
